Day 7 August 30, 2023 9.5 Hours

One of the interns that I met while in office transferred to the course scheduling division today. As I am pretty sure the new intern Madelyn that was introduced yesterday has quit since she did not show up today and does not show that she logged into any of our company website data bases. I also found out that the other intern that was assigned to the Atlanta location and had to drive down last minute to Orlando quit today. I am starting to see a pattern of high turnover for their interns. After hearing other intern experiences as well as my own conversations with the president and human resources I understand why there is as well as the rating of 1.8 out of 5 on glassdoor. I do not know if I would recommend others from Tiffin to complete their mentorships and internships from here.

From a work perspective I completed a total of 44 phone calls with courses on the day from 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM. This day felt like I was almost a telemarketer as I continue to call the same courses every day for the events in May, June, July. I asked for an additional event so I could at least call a new region and got assigned to Raleigh for an event on June 8-9 and August 17-18. When calling for the new region events. I ended up getting an offering to host both events at a golf course called Riverwood Golf Club. As well as a mass communication email back and forth for the May 11-12 event with my Boss as a club in showed interest.
