Day 3 August 23, 2023 9.5 Hours

8:00 AM to 8:30 AM I continued to pick up the work that I started yesterday which included the organization and collection of previous course entries. From 8:30 AM to 10:30 had a team meeting with Mike Malo and Noah Hart about our organization process. Went through our individual process approaches, discussed what key indicators to look for mainly rating, course yardage and distance from city. After that we set up our Microsoft teams accounts to stay online and communicate. From 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM went back to the organization workload to get ready for the sales calls. Completed the organized list for Kansas City, Missouri, and West Palm Beach. From 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM had lunch with the other interns where we discussed our roles. Learned that two interns are working with hospitality and trying to negotiate contracts for hotels near events sites. Another intern has the role of dealing with event entrance questions and helping parents and courses that have issues. 1:15 PM to 4:30 PM finished my organization process and compiled the list of course information for the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area as well as the Tampa area. From 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM I went through the list of all the complete regions and tried to add more courses that were not previously in the system. Was able to add 7 new courses to the Tampa section that was organized. Was also able to add 2 new course to the Kansas city section. After that had a brief end of day meeting to discuss the call process and got prepared to call the different regions for the next day.
